On my grave,
The grave of the most unknown.
*********
Everytime
*********
Everytime I try to walk away,
After saying things
I never meant to say,
It seems I don't get very far,
I stop and listen to my heart,
And run back to where you are.
Everytime I try to pretend,
My love for you is only
As your friend,
My heart breaks,
And I can't wait
To be in your hands again.
When I listen to my heart,
I'm always led to where you are.
This time I swear I'm gonna stay,
By your side and never walk away.

If I Were to Tell You...
********************
If I were to tell you,
If I were to say,
That I love you,
In each and every way,
What would you do?
Would you laugh at me?
Thinking I was joking,
Mistaking for a chuckle
The sound of my choking
On the words I have waited
For so long to say...
Is that what you'd do,
If I told you today?
Or, would you believe it to be true?
And be so relieved,
For you feel that way too?
Would you pull me close then?
Perhaps plant a slight kiss?
Saying, 'Oh, my dear girl,
I have waited for this'?
Or, would you look me in the eyes,
Take me by the hand,
And say, 'I love you too,
But only as a friend'?
So, if I were to tell you,
If I were to say,
That I love you in each
And every way...
What would you do?
Laugh at me?
Love me?
Or push me away?

The Death Digger
****************
The shovel is held
By a hand I can't see.
But I can feel the pain,
As it digs into me.
Taking little by little,
It digs away at my chest.
Removing the heart that once
Beat beneath my breast.
Killing me.
That's what the digger is doing.
As it widens the hole,
Through which my life blood is spewing.
Emptiness.
Now that my spirit is gone.
Only mind and body remain,
And I can't hold on.
Murderer!
What is left of me sobs,
You've taken all but my life,
Now finish the job!
Kill me!
Now with the digger
I plead...
The darkness closes in
Around me,
And I can't breathe.
